- The Ring of Glory – First new delve located in the Coiled Isle zone;
- Gnarldor Isle – Second new delve located in the Coiled Isle zone;

What is the Best Delve To Do in Midnight Season 2?
If you are looking to level up your companion or quickly earn currency, certain delves can yield slightly better returns than others in a short amount of time. Note that the following Delves are not hyper-profitable unless you know the mechanics and can clear the bosses quickly.
Ring of Glory is the best Delve for leveling Valeera Sanguinar to the new level 80 cap. The ability to ride your mount throughout the instance speeds up completion, and the convenient layout allows you to run the Delve more times within the same timeframe compared to others, ultimately yielding more companion experience.
The Venomfall Deeps delve is an excellent option for farming high-tier gear and Mistcrests. Since the entire instance consists solely of a boss room, clearing it is incredibly fast, even at Tier 11. In addition to rewards from Delves, you will also be able to fill the Great Vault slots with ilvl 305 gear quickly.
In addition to the specific instances mentioned above, you should prioritize the ones that are currently Bountiful each day; completing them grants you enhanced bonus loot on top of the standard rewards.
Midnight Season 2 Delve Companion
Valeera Sanguinar returns as the Midnight Delve companion in Season 2. Valeera received a new Level 80 cap, which is highly recommended to maximize her effectiveness in Tier 8 and above for solo runs. Additionally, she received new poisons that no longer depend on the companion’s specialization:
- Bursting Toad Toxin – Valeera applies toad-derived toxin to her and her allies’ weapons. Enemies struck by these poisons occasionally burst with poison, inflicting Nature damage every second for 8 seconds to all enemies within 8 yards.
- Frostheart Venom – Valeera applies a frost-infused poison to her and her allies’ weapons. Enemies struck by these poisoned weapons have their movement decreased by 30% and their melee attack, ranged attack, and casting speeds all reduced by 20% for 10 sec.
- Phantasmal Spore Toxin – Valeera applies a debilitating poison to her and her allies’ weapons. Enemies struck by these poisoned weapons have their damage reduced by 10% and their Haste reduced by 10% for 20 sec.
In addition to new poisons, Valeera has received a new set of Combat and Utility Curios that will help create the perfect builds for high-tier Delves. You can find more information on companion builds for any specialization at Icy Veins.

Midnight Season 2 Nemesis Boss
In Midnight Season 2, the new main nemesis is Azta’rec, located in Venomfall Deeps. As in the previous season, the nemesis lair is a single-boss instance that does not require clearing trash mobs. Accessing Azta’rec does not require completing the introductory quest chain; however, finishing it grants the Corrosive Victory toy.
Defeating the boss at Delve Tier 11 will earn you an achievement, depending on whether or not there are other players in your party. Thanks to the Valeera Sanguinar’s recent buff, you can defeat the nemesis more comfortably.
